This tour focuses on our best Tiger Reserves; Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan, Bandhavgarh National Park, and Kanha National Park in Madhya Pradesh 

The tour begins at the historic city of Delhi from where we head to Keoladeo National Park- UNESCO World Heritage site. This former duck-hunting reserve of the Maharajas is one of the major wintering areas for large numbers of aquatic birds from Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, China and Siberia. Some 364 species of birds, including the rare Siberian crane, have been recorded in the park. 

We further move ahead on the Tiger’s trail into the jungles of Ranthambore. One of the largest wildlife reserves in the royal state of Rajasthan, Ranthambore National Park is your best bet for a guaranteed Tiger spotting. From here we move on to Agra and to witness the marvelous piece of architecture the Taj Mahal.

Our next stop would be Khajuraho, famous for its ancient temples that depict some of the finest art in the world. From here we set on a journey exploring the wild. Bandhavgarh National Park, known to be the royal hunting place for the Maharajas of Rewa, the place has a legendary significance. Home to some of the most famous, named tigers that are distinctively large and beautiful, including Sita – who was the second-most photographed tigress in the world. 

The picturesque Kanha National Park takes a leaf out of Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book.” The park has large open meadows where chances of spotting wildlife, including tigers, are high. Concluding the journey in Delhi, we take back thrilling experience of encounter with the wild beast in the golden fur.

Day 1 | Arrival Delhi

Arrive at New Delhi International airport. Our representative will assist you in getting transferred to your pre booked hotel. Check in, and relax for the day. Stay overnight at the hotel.


Day 2 | Delhi – Bharatpur

After breakfast, check out and get driven to Bharatpur. Reach Bharatpur and check in the hotel. In the late afternoon, go on a journey to Deeg Palace, an opulent palace built in the mid-18th century by Raja Suraj Mal, the former king of Bharatpur. Explore the massive fortress and learn how this was the summer resort of Bharatpur royalty. You’ll spend 3-5 hours here, depending on your desired pace. Return to your hotel in the evening and enjoy the rest of the night at leisure.

Day 3 | Bharatpur

After breakfast visit the beautiful Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. The major attractions are the numerous migratory birds, who come from as far away as Siberia and Central Asia and spend their winters in Bharatpur, before returning to their breeding grounds.
Also visit, Bharatpur Government Museum, one of the major attention grabber after the Bharatpur sanctuary, which provides a glimpse of the past royal splendor of Bharatpur. Bharatpur Palace, not far from the museum is the Palace, a marvelous structural blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture. The invincible Lohagarh Fort, which remained unconquered despite several attacks by the British regime. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4| Bharatpur Ranthambore (210 kms/4-5 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and get driven to Ranthambore. Reach Ranthambore and relax in your pre-booked hotel. In the afternoon, visit Ranthambore fort built by the Chauhans in the 10th century is one of the oldest forts of Rajasthan. Its strategic location was ideal for keeping enemies at bay. The fort is associated with the historical tragedy of royal women performing jauhar (self immolation) when Ala-ud-din Khilji sieged this fort in 1303. The fort has many temples, tanks, massive gates and walls. Return and stay overnight in the resort.

Day 5 | Ranthambore

After breakfast, go for morning & evening game viewing inside the jungle with two safaris. Ranthambore National Park is one of the largest and most famous national parks in northern India. Ranthambore was established as the Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 by the Government of India, and was declared one of the Project Tiger reserves in 1973. Ranthambore became a national park in 1980. In 1984, the adjacent forests were declared the Sawai Man Singh Sanctuary and Keladevi Sanctuary, and in 1991 the tiger reserve was enlarged to include Sawai Man Singh and Keladevi sanctuaries. Ranthambore is also the site for one of the largest Banyan trees in India. Stay overnight at the resort.

Day 6  |   Ranthambore

Morning and afternoon, jungle safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Return and stay overnight in the resort.

Day 7| Ranthambore – Agra

After breakfast, check out and leave for Agra. Reach Agra and we will drive straight to see the magnificent piece of architecture the Taj Mahal during the sunset, perhaps the most photographed monument in the world. Later check in the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 8| Agra – Jhansi (By Train)Khajuraho (By Road)

Today we take up the train journey to Jhansi. On reaching Jhansi, our driver will assist you in getting transferred to Khajuraho. Inscribed in the list of world heritage sites by UNESCO, the whole complex is divided into eastern and western group of temples. Eastern group is constituted by Parsavanatha Temple – The largest in the group of three Jain temples, Ghantai Temple – This Jain temple has a fresco depicting the 16 dreams of Mahavira’s mother, and a multi-armed Jain goddess perched on a winged Garuda, Adinatha Temple – The last of the Jain temples dedicated to the Jain saint, Adinatha. Later visit the Western group which is undoubtedly the best recognized, because the largest and most typical Khajuraho temple Kandariya Mahadev belongs to this group. Other temples of the western group are Vishwanath Temple – The temple enshrines a three-headed image of Lord Brahma, Lakshamana Temple – The lintel over the entrance of this temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu shows the holy trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva with Goddess Lakshmi, Vishnu’s consort, Chaunsath Yogini – The oldest surviving temple in the group, Chitragupta Temple – Dedicated to the sun-god, Surya, Matangeshwara Temple – This temple, which happens to be outside the precincts of the western group, is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Overnight in Khajuraho.

Day 9  |   Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh (240 kms/5-6 hrs)

oday we leave for Bandhavgarh. Declared as a national park in 1968 the Bandhavgarh National Park is spread across the area of 105 km². The name Bandhavgarh has been derived from the most prominent hillock of the area of Umaria. The area of Bandhavgarh is being flourished with a large biodiversity, the place which is also being famed to grip highest density of tiger population in India. Similarly, the park also beholds the largest breeding population of leopards and various species of deer. Over the years, the park has shown a great number of increases in the count of the tiger species and this is the reason why tiger tours is so famed to attract large amount of tourists at its vicinity. Reach Bandhavgarh by lunch hours, check in the hotel and relax for the day. Have dinner and stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 10 | Bandhavgarh National Park

The bliss continues as we leave for an early morning Jungle Safari. Upon return to the resort, breakfast will be served. After freshening up, relaxation and lunch we leave for the evening jungle safari. Return and stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 11 | Bandhavgarh National Park

Wake up call with Tea / Coffee at the lodge. Assemble at the Baithak & leave for the Morning Safari with our guide & naturalist.
Return back to the lodge and have lunch. Post lunch – visit to – Rancha village visit home & interaction with family. Talk about man animal conflict. Introduction to – traditional farming methods (optional). Back to the lodge for Tea and refreshments. Dinner and overnight stay in the lodge.

Day 12 | Bandhavgarh National Park – Kanha (180 kms/4-5 hrs)

Morning leave for Kanha National Park is nestled in the Maikal range of Satpuras in Madhya Pradesh, the heart of India that forms the central Indian highlands.The national park is being popularized as the Tiger reserve and interestingly is being declared as one of the finest wildlife areas in the world. A trip to Kanha Reserve directly takes you to the widespread arena of the lush habitat of wild creatures. With elephant and jeep safari an encounter to all these species is really generous and worthwhile. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and stay overnight.

Day 13 | Kanha National Park

Wake up with an early morning wake up call. After, a cup of tea, depart for the first jungle safari. After morning safari return to the resort for fresh -n-up and have breakfast.
After lunch we again depart on a gypsy to Kanha National Park for wildlife viewing. Dinner and overnight stay at wildlife resort.

Day 14 | Kanha – Jabalpur – Delhi

Morning after breakfast leave for Jabalpur airport to board the flight to Delhi. Our driver will receive you at the Delhi airport on your arrival and transfer to the booked hotel. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 15 | Delhi – Fly back home…
