Day 1 | Arrival Delhi

Arrive at New Delhi International airport, and meet our representative waiting for you with your name board at the exit gate no. 6 of Terminal 3. You will be introduced to your private driver by the representative, who will assist you in getting transferred to your pre-booked hotel. This day is to relax to get rid of the jetlag. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2 | Delhi

Meet your private guide for the day he will give you a brief of the sightseeing before you start the tour. Hop on the car with your guide and the driver to gape at the Mughal-era architecture and history, from ancient forts to incredible monuments to high-tech skyscrapers and shopping centers.

Start your journey through India’s ages by visiting the Jama Masjid, adorned heaven amid Old Delhi’s chaos. The red sandstone treasure was built by the mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Next make your way through the maze of hawkers and motorcycles of the iconic Chandni Chowk. Take a ride on a rickshaw, feast on incredible food or sip chai (tea) on a rooftop lounge. You cannot leave the city without exploring the Red Fort (Monday closed), the primary residence of the Mughal dynasty and the UNESCO world heritage site.

In the afternoon, visit yet another UNESCO recognized site, Humayun’s Tomb, built by the emperor’s grieving widow, Haji Begum, in 1565 AD. Drive past the impressive India Gate built as a memorial to commemorate the 70,000 India soldiers killed in World War I and the Secretariat Building on the way to Qutub Minar another UNESCO site rose by Qutub- u- din in 1199 either as a victory tower or as a minaret to the adjacent mosque. Return back to the hotel towards the end of the day.

Day 3 | Delhi – Agra

Morning after breakfast leaves your hotel and gets driven to Agra along one of the India’s finest freeways. Along the way, chat to your private driver and gaze out over India’s passing landscapes and villages. Reach Agra, the storied city home to India’s powerful nobility and meet your private guide.

Agra’s most beloved monument the Taj Mahal is one of the most famous buildings in the world. Built by Shah Jahan as a memorial to his beloved wife this pristine white marble mausoleum is a wonder to behold. It took no less than 22 years to build and is an everlasting symbol of Shah Jahan’s undying love for Mumtaz. Magically the Taj Mahal changes color through the day, in the morning pink hues grace its facades and the gleaming moonlight turns it gold.

We start the tour with a ride to the UNESCO world heritage site, Agra Fort built with red sandstone on the bend of the Yamuna River. We also visit Itmad-ud-daulah, which was constructed by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628 and is very similar to the tomb she constructed for her husband, Jehangir, near Lahore in Pakistan.

In the evening we will take you to a little known prime viewing spot of the Taj Mahal during sunset exists opposite the monument on the northern shores of the Yamuna River, it is Mehtab Bagh – a centuries old garden complex, open to the public. End the day with an overnight stay in the booked hotel.

Day 4 | Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur

Early morning we leave to see the magnificent piece of architecture the Taj Mahal (Friday Closed), perhaps the most photographed monument in the world. A dawn visit to the fabled Taj Mahal to witness the magical effects caused by the reflections of the changing colors of the rising Sun on this brilliant white marble building. Later we return back to our hotel for breakfast.

Head on to Jaipur, the Pink City, founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, the ruler of Amber with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, also known as the “Ghost City”. Its gate, Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world is the main attraction of the town. Fatehpur Sikri built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, was the old capital of the Moghuls, which was abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal & other Palaces which are still preserved in its original glory.

On arriving Jaipur, relax and stay overnight in the pre-booked hotel.

Day 5 | Jaipur

Following early breakfast, meet your guide and get ready to explore Jaipur’s star attraction the Amer Fort sits on a hill besides the calm water of Mountain Lake. This magnificent palace complex dating back to the 16th century was built from pale yellow and pink sandstone, and white marble. It is divided into four main sections each with its own courtyard.

On the way back we stop at Jal Mahal, this small palace is set in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.
Next head to Hawa Mahal a five storey palace built in 1799, by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, is the most recognizable monument of Jaipur.

We take break for lunch and continue with the tour followed by City Palace a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture, and Jantar Mantar built in 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the huge masonary instruments were used to study the movement of constellations and stars in the sky. It features Samrat Yantra world’s largest sundial. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 6 | Jaipur – Delhi

After breakfast transfer to New Delhi. Check in the hotel and rest of the day is free for leisure activity. Overnight stay at New Delhi.

Day 8 | Delhi – Kathmandu

Get transferred to the airport to board the flight to Kathmandu. Meet our representative at Kathmandu airport upon arrival. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and the Kathmandu Valley is the political and cultural heart of the Kingdom. Founded in the 8th century AD by King Gunakamadeva at the join of the Bagmati and Bishnumati rivers the founding point is the Kashta (wood) Mandap (temple), built where two old trade routes crossed, and now the oldest building in the city. The europhile first minister of Kathmandu in the 19th century, Jung Bahadur Rana, built many classical looking buildings and palaces in the city, in contrast to those of Newari style that existed before. The urban sprawl that makes up modern Kathmandu is in fact two cities, Patan and Kathmandu. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 6 | Kathmandu

This morning you will enjoy a guided tour covering Kathmandu’s Durbar Square, which is one of three durbar (royal palace) squares in the Kathmandu Valley. It is the site of the Hanuman Dhoka Palace Complex, which was the royal Nepalese residence until the 19th century and where important ceremonies, such as the coronation of the Nepalese monarch, still take place today. You will then visit one of the most curious attractions in Nepal, the Kumari Chowk. This gilded cage contains the Raj Kumari, a young girl chosen through an ancient and mystical selection process to become the human incarnation of the Hindu mother goddess, Durga. She is worshipped during religious festivals and makes public appearances at other times for a fee paid to her guards. You will next continue to visit Swayambhunath the golden spire of the 5th-century Swayambhu stupa is adorned with a colorful fluttering of prayer flags; it crowns a hill overlooking the Kathmandu Valley and offers fantastic views over the city of Kathmandu. Swayambhunath is one of the most recognizable symbols in Nepal and the painted eyes of Buddha watch all who ascend the worn stone steps.

This afternoon your guided tour will take you for a visit of the Hindu culture in Nepal, Pashupatinath. This is the place where holy saddhus pray and cremations on the Bagmati River are carried out. While you are not allowed into the temple if you are not a Hindu, the grounds surrounding the temple usually have a fascinating crowd of the faithful. We then continue to the holiest shrine for the Buddhist culture in Nepal, Bouddhanath, with its large stupa, this is the place where all devout Buddhists come for a pilgrimage. It is not unusual to see very old devotees circumnavigate the shrine hundreds of times falling to their knees and rising again for a few steps only to go back down again to their knees. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 9 | Kathmandu – Chitwan

After breakfast at Kathmandu hotel, get driven to Chitwan National Park. An enjoyable and scenic five hours drive by car or private coach on the Prithvi highway connecting Chitwan with Kathmandu follows the Trishuli River which takes us through the Tharu Villages of Chitwan. The ethnic tribe of the Tharu’s is the local inhabitants of Chitwan and is agriculturists by profession. Reach Chitwan, Check in and rest of the day will be free for leisure activities around. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 | Chitwan

Early morning guests will be mounted on elephant back and taken for a jungle safari for 2-3 hours penetrating through dense grasslands to view wildlife in their natural habitat. This grass commonly known as elephant grass is dense and grows to a height of 18‐20 ft. It is the favorite habitat for rhinoceros and other mammals.
After breakfast, you are taken to our elephant stables where a senior naturalist briefs about the interesting and unbelievable habits of elephant. Here one may witness the rare scene of the elephants at bath. Return for lunch at the resort.
In the afternoon you may choose to relax around the resort or take a drive through the jungles in four wheel drive jeep followed by a canoe ride down the Rapti River. The river ride provides opportunity of viewing the gharial crocodiles as well as the mugger crocodiles, fresh water dolphins, otters and varieties of water birds. OR,
You may also feel like going for a nature walk or birding with one of our naturalists to know more about the flora of the Chitwan National Park. Return back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 11 | Chitwan – Pokhara

Drive to Pokhara is 180 Km and is a 04 hours drive from Chitwan. From Pokhara town (2,352 feet) the 25,000+ peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges rise a scant 20 miles away with no intervening ridges to spoil the view. Pokhara offers the best mountain scenery in Nepal without undertaking a trek. In good weather there are splendid views right from the hotel.
This afternoon you will visit Bindebasini Temple. This is one of the oldest temples in Pokhara was a part of Kaski Kingdom, the main deity of the temple, Goddess Durga, was brought from India . Apart from the peace and tranquility that can be felt in this region, the premises of the temple offers a good view of the Himalaya on a clear day. The temple is in the area of the bazaar, hence,a journey of the old bazaar can be combined with a visit to the temple. Sightseeing to Devi’s fall, also known as Patale Chango is an awesome waterfall lying 2 km southwest of Pokhara. During summer and rainy season, the waterfall takes its real form, with gushing water splashing and making its way through the rocks. Just opposite of Devi’s fall, on the other side of the road, there is Gupteshwor Cave. This cave is popular for the different natural forms made from limestone deposits. Photography is strictly prohibited inside the cave. Evening Go the lakeside and enjoy an hour of boating at the fantastic Phewa Lake of with Fishtail Mountain on the background. Walk around the tourist area of Lakeside. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 12 | Pokhara – Kathmandu

Today we get driven back to Kathmandu, capital city of Nepal. Reach and check in at the hotel. This whole day is for local sightseeing and shopping around.

Day 13 | Kathmandu – Fly back home…
