Day 1 | Arrival Delhi

Arrive at New Delhi International airport, and meet our representative waiting for you with your name board at the exit gate no. 6 of Terminal 3. You will be introduced to your private driver by the representative, who will assist you in getting transferred to your pre-booked hotel. This day is to relax to get rid of the jetlag. Overnight in Delhi

Day 2 | Delhi

Meet your private guide for the day he will give you a brief of the sightseeing before you start the tour. Hop on the car with your guide and the driver to gape at the Mughal-era architecture and history, from ancient forts to incredible monuments to high-tech skyscrapers and shopping centers.
Start your journey through India’s ages by visiting the Jama Masjid, adorned heaven amid Old Delhi’s chaos. The red sandstone treasure was built by the mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Next make your way through the maze of hawkers and motorcycles of the iconic Chandni Chowk. Take a ride on a rickshaw, feast on incredible food or sip chai (tea) on a rooftop lounge. You cannot leave the city without exploring the Red Fort (Monday closed), the primary residence of the Mughal dynasty and the UNESCO world heritage site.

In the afternoon, visit yet another UNESCO recognized site, Humayun’s Tomb, built by the emperor’s grieving widow, Haji Begum, in 1565 AD. Drive past the impressive India Gate built as a memorial to commemorate the 70,000 India soldiers killed in World War I and the Secretariat Building on the way to Qutub Minar another UNESCO site rose by Qutub- u- din in 1199 either as a victory tower or as a minaret to the adjacent mosque. Return back to the hotel towards the end of the day.

Day 3 | Delhi – Agra (205 kms/4 hrs)

Morning after breakfast leaves your hotel and gets driven to Agra along one of the India’s finest freeways. Along the way, chat to your private driver and gaze out over India’s passing landscapes and villages. Reach Agra, the storied city home to India’s powerful nobility and meet your private guide.

We start the tour with a ride to the UNESCO world heritage site, Agra Fort built with red sandstone on the bend of the Yamuna River. We also visit Itmad-ud-daulah, which was constructed by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628 and is very similar to the tomb she constructed for her husband, Jehangir, near Lahore in Pakistan.

In the evening we will take you to Agra’s most beloved monument the Taj Mahal is one of the most famous buildings in the world. Built by Shah Jahan as a memorial to his beloved wife this pristine white marble mausoleum is a wonder to behold. It took no less than 22 years to build and is an everlasting symbol of Shah Jahan’s undying love for Mumtaz. Magically the Taj Mahal changes color through the day, in the morning pink hues grace its facades and the gleaming moonlight turns it gold.

End the day with an overnight stay in the booked hotel.

Day 4 | Agra – Gwalior

Today after breakfast in the morning, we will drive to Gwalior. Gwalior’s history is traced back to a legend in 8th century AD when a chieftain known as Suraj Sen was struck by a deadly disease and cured by a hermit-saint Gwalipa. As a gratitude for that incidence, he founded this city on his name. The new city of Gwalior became existence over the centuries. The cradle of great dynasties ruled the city Gwalior. With different Dynasty, the city gained a new dimension from the warrior kings, poets, musicians, and saints who contributed to making it renowned throughout the country. On arrival at Gwalior, we will head to visit the major attractions of Gwalior. To start with the tour, we will first head toward the Gwalior Fort, the largest fort of India. It is India’s one of the largest forts build in 8th century by Man Singh Tomar. Thereafter, we will explore the beautiful Jai Vilas Palace, Teli Ka Mandir, Man Mandir Palace, Padavali temple, Suraj Kund and the Bateshwar valley. Overnight in Gwalior.

Day 5 | Gwalior – Orchha

Say goodbye to Gwalior and head toward Orchha by road. On arrival at Orchha, check in at the hotel and rest for some time. Thereafter, enjoy delicious lunch hot served by the hotel in their in-build restaurant. After having lunch, we will proceed for Orchha’s sightseeing tour and visit its major tourist destinations such as Chhatris, the Laxmi Narayan temple the Chandreshekhar Azad Memorial, Raja Mahal and Dauji Ki Haveli. Afterwards, we will return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6 | Orchha – Khajuraho

Morning meet our driver and get transferred to Khajuraho. Famous for its attractive, exotic and eye-catching temple sculpture, structural design and craftsmanship, Khajuraho is situated in the heart of Central India, in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Khajuraho temples were constructed during the reign of Chandel Empire between 950 and 1050 A.D. Khajuraho is a mesmerizing village with a picturesque rural ambience and a rich cultural heritage. The captivating temples of Khajuraho, India’s unique gift of love to the world represent the expression of a highly developed civilization. Upon arrival, check in the hotel and overnight in Khajuraho.

Day 7 | Khajuraho

Morning get ready for a visual treat as you proceed for the guided sightseeing tour of Khajuraho Temples. Inscribed in the list of world heritage sites by UNESCO, the whole complex is divided into eastern and western group of temples. Eastern group is constituted by Parsavanatha Temple – The largest in the group of three Jain temples, Ghantai Temple – This Jain temple has a fresco depicting the 16 dreams of Mahavira’s mother, and a multi-armed Jain goddess perched on a winged Garuda, Adinatha Temple – The last of the Jain temples dedicated to the Jain saint, Adinatha. Later visit the Western group which is undoubtedly the best recognized, because the largest and most typical Khajuraho temple Kandariya Mahadev belongs to this group. Other temples of the western group are Vishwanath Temple – The temple enshrines a three-headed image of Lord Brahma, Lakshamana Temple – The lintel over the entrance of this temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu shows the holy trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva with Goddess Lakshmi, Vishnu’s consort, Chaunsath Yogini – The oldest surviving temple in the group, Chitragupta Temple – Dedicated to the sun-god, Surya, Matangeshwara Temple – This temple, which happens to be outside the precincts of the western group, is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Overnight in Khajuraho.

Day 8 | Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh

Today we leave for Bandhavgarh. Declared as a national park in 1968 the Bandhavgarh National Park is spread across the area of 105 km². The name Bandhavgarh has been derived from the most prominent hillock of the area of Umaria. The area of Bandhavgarh is being flourished with a large biodiversity, the place which is also being famed to grip highest density of tiger population in India. Similarly, the park also beholds the largest breeding population of leopards and various species of deer. Over the years, the park has shown a great number of increases in the count of the tiger species and this is the reason why tiger tours is so famed to attract large amount of tourists at its vicinity. Reach Bandhavgarh by lunch hours, check in the hotel and relax for the day. Have dinner and stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 9 | Bandhavgarh National Park

We will head for a day tour to the Bandhavgarh National Park after breakfast in the morning. It is a small national park with high density of tiger. In the Bandhavgarh National Park, we will enjoy jeep/elephant safari as per our preferences and discover the natural beauty of park along with its wild animals. After completely the jungle safari, we will return back to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10 | Bandhavgarh – Jabalpur

Following breakfast, you’ll be heading for Jabalpur. Enjoy the picturesque ride. Adjudged the third most populated city of Madhya Pradesh and having historical significance dating back to Mahabharata, Jabalpur was also known as Tripuri in the early ages. Jabalpur is located near River Narmada and is surrounded by lakes and low hills.

On arrival, check in the hotel and after lunch embark on a sightseeing tour of Marble Rocks at Bhedaghatt. In the evening, return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 11 | Jabalpur – Pachmarhi

Today after breakfast, we will leave for Pachmarhi by road. Pachmarhi is located at a height of 1,067 feet in a valley of the Satpura Range in Hoshangabad district, also known as Satpura ki Rani. It is a popular hill station of Madhya Pradesh state and is blessed with many beautiful ancient caves and monuments.
On reaching Pachmarhi, check in at your hotel and relax in your room or take pleasure of the modern amenities offered by the hotel. Enjoy delicious dinner followed by an overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 12 | Pachmarhi

Panchmarhi is a breathtaking town sitting atop a hill with lush green surroundings. The area served as an erstwhile hill station for British Army. You’ll get to enjoy here breathtaking waterfalls, tranquil pool and calm glades. In the evening, you’ll get to behold sunset at the highest point in Satpura range – Dhupgarh.

Day 13 | Pachmarhi – Bhopal

On the this day, you will hit the road for Bhopal. En route, stop for visiting Bhimbetka, a UNESCO world heritage site. Archaeologically, Bhimbetka exhibits one of the earliest traces of human life in India. The Stone Age rock paintings here are a must visit.
Later resume your journey to Bhopal. Dinner and overnight stay in Bhopal.

Day 14 | Bhopal – Sanchi – Bhopal

Following breakfast, you’ll be leaving for Sanchi, an ancient center of Buddhist learning. Explore the town.You’ll get to visit Archaeological Museum, Sanchi Stupa and the Ashoka Pillar. Sanchi Stupa dates back to third century BC and the best preserved historical monuments in India.
Return to Bhopal after sightseeing Sanchi. You’ll get to visit some prominent sights of the city including Taj-ul-Masajid, Birla Museum, and Laxmi Narain Temple. Overnight in Bhopal.

Day 15 | Bhopal – Indore

Following a sumptuous breakfast, you’ll be departing for Indore. At Indore, you’ll be visiting some unusual buildings such as Kanch Mandir, and a Museum with a rich collection of medieval and ancient Hindu sculptures. Overnight in Indore

Day 16 | Indore – Mandu – Indore

Embark on an excursion to Mandu. Mandu’s old name was Shadiabad, the city of happiness. It is said that city’s name was christened by Aluddin Khilji. At his time there was nobody poor in the town. Any poor who was permitted to stay in the city would be donated a gold coin by each resident so as to bring him at par with others. Interestingly, Dai Ka Temple in the city was built by a poor old lady on conferring the citizenship of the city. Mandu is also famous for the legends of Prince Baz Bahadur and his love with his consort Rani Roopmati.
You’ll be visiting many interesting places in the town such as Ashrafi Mahal, Hindola Mahal or swinging palace, and Rewa Kund Group.
Return back to Indore in the evening and retire to your hotel.

Day 17 | Indore – Delhi

Today we take flight back to Delhi in the morning for boarding international flight to your onward destination. Services from HNK Travel Solutions end here.
